This month on the artechniques yahoo group, I did a short write up on crayon batik. Some of the papers were laying here on my desk and I thought about a magazine picture that I had torn out and how I could use them together. I find that some of the backgrounds are just awesome but sometimes hard to put in a project without overwhelming the focal point. I love this piece, I think it's going to be one of the ones that has to sit here beside my computer for a time before I can part with it.
