Tuesday
I finished my second encaustic piece. I can see that there is still a lot to learn. But, I feel like I made great strides and learned to use oil paints in conjunction with the encaustics and encaustic medium. Baby steps. A little at a time. In making collage pieces, I always feel like more is good, but I can see on encaustic pieces, sometimes less is better. I don't want to do all abstracts, I want to do really good stuff for home dec and abstracts are great but sometimes they really aren't what we are looking for. So, ta da.....here it is.
