The Melange blog transfer challenge
This was so exciting. The Melange team on Etsy hosted a "come and show us your favorite transfer method" challenge and it was eye opening what could and was used for transfers. We even are having a drawing for a wonderful art book which will be awarded to one of the participants. I really hope we can do more of these types of challenges soon. I know I have totally enjoyed seeing the tutorials that some of the girls wrote for the blog and now can't wait to see all of the artwork which will be logged onto the "comments" section tommorrow.
So, come on by the blog on the 31st and see what everyone accomplished.
Here is my journal cover that I did. I used Purell hand sanitizer and an inkjet transparency. I also did use my pigment ink printer.

Beautiful , I love the colors and the " feel" of it !
Lovely, lovely work Glenda, using my favorite method. Thank you so much for sharing it with me!
Glenda, love your work, you have encouraged me so very much to keep working at successful transfers, I just love the effect and it's so worth the effort. Now that I feel comfortable with some successes directly on some substrates, I've got to do some collage and transfer directly onto the artwork.....scary, scary, scary.....no mishaps allowed by then!! :)
Love it, Glenda! This is one method I didn't try.
Just lovely as usual, Glenda... so rich and lustrous. You keep me so inspired, and I will definitely be trying this method again and again.
love the way your transfer came out - I'll definitely check out the blog. you seem to get quite a lot accomplished - wow - all fabulous!
Oh my...absolutely love this Glenda!
That is just gorgeous, Glenda! And thank you for posting my transfer piece while I was gone! What a great collection of entries!! :) Silke
